It is recommended that all gas appliances are serviced annually. We carry out servicing of most domestic gas appliances including boilers, cookers, fires, hobs and warm air heaters.

We often find and rectify issues on service visits, particularly flat expansion vessels which if left untreated will cause the need for a breakdown visit later in the year, as well as potentially causing damage to other components. We check this as standard on our services and re-commission them ,saving you time, money and inconvenience at a later date!

We also check your water quality on each service and corrosion inhibitor chemical levels and will advise you accordingly to ensure your system is in the best possible condition.

 

When it comes to having your boiler serviced we offer 2 levels of service. Whilst most boilers do not require a full strip down service each year it is important to have this carried out as and when required in order to improve the performance, efficiency and ensure longevity of your boiler. We have detailed below what is included in our 2 service levels.

Level 1 Service

- Visual inspection of boiler for leaks and signs of distress

- Correct operation of controls checked

- Gas pressures tested

- Emissions test carried out

- Safety device checked

- Condensate trap cleaned (if applicable)

- Expansion vessel checked and serviced (if applicable)

- Corrosion Inhibitor Level checked

Level 2 Service 

​

Unless stated otherwise by manufacturers, this generally should be carried out at least once every 5 years

​

- All of the above

- Full manufacturer's strip clean with replacement of disturbed seals and gaskets

- Ignition components cleaned
